Let’s face it. Men do not care about engagement parties. Men are not infatuated with the size of the ring or how many carats the diamond has. The only way men are willing to attend any ceremony or shower is if there’s an open bar. There is however one giant exception to this general rule of thumb and that is if when a sport team has recently won a title.
As most are probably aware, Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick accomplished the impossible with their historic victory of Super Bowl LI. There was a parade, followed by a recent trip to the White House.
Not all Patriot players attended the White House ceremony. Some preferred to skip the celebration based on political views, while other’s had other lively matters to attend. Tom Brady was one individual that chose not to attend, stating that he opted to spend time with his mother, who was sick during the 2016 season.
The next ceremony on the New England Patriots agenda is a formal ring ceremony that will be held on Friday, June 9th according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss who also stated:
“The Patriots are holding their mandatory minicamp from June 6-8, so the date fits well as all players on the current roster should already be in town.”
After Super Bowl XLIX, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft made sure to go all in for his team’s fourth ring, making it one of the most extravagant ring for a Championship football team to receive. This leaves great speculation for how incredible the franchise’s fifth ring will be, considering Super Bowl XLIX’s was encrusted with roughly a billion diamond stones.
The ring ceremony will likely be the last reminiscent event the New England Patriots host in tribute to their 2016 campaign, as they will begin focusing on their journey to Blitz For Six. On June 9th, check back with The Winning Take to see pictures of the illustrious event.
