#WengerOut is no more.

After months of speculation on whether the board would let him go or not, it is now official that Arsene Wenger will be the manager of Arsenal for two more years. As a fan-base, it is now time to unify under the coaching legend entering his twenty-second season.

Arsenal ended the season by winning nine out of its last ten games, including the sensational FA Cup win against Chelsea. Many of the Arsenal supporters will look at that last match and see hope for the future and rightfully so. After that horrific loss against Crystal Palace, Arsene Wenger decided it was time to make a shake-up with his current formation. The club switched to a 3-4-3, and has seen great results since.

One of Wenger’s signings from last year’s summer transfer window has shown why the French manager decided to sign him over the likes of Kante and many others. Granit Xhaka has been a monster in the midfield as of late, and was a huge reason why Arsenal was able to win the FA Cup.

Xhaka rewarded his boss’s confidence in him with some amazing play to make sure that Arsenal ended up with a trophy in a season which Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champion’s League for the first time in twenty seasons. Even though Wenger has faced criticism in the past for not winning the Premier League since 2004, he was able to point to his critics that at least they managed to qualify for Europe’s top tournament. Now his team will be competing in the Europa League next year, so finishing the year well was important for Arsene and his future with the club.

Wenger also received a lot of criticism last summer for not spending big money on big named players, yet one of the signings he did make also showed up in the most important game of the season. That player is Rob Holding, and he showed so much promise as a young player. Arsenal won all six premier games in which he played in during the the final two months of play. Holding was also a monster against Chelsea, making his presence felt many of times in the back.

For what may be Wenger’s last two seasons, it is now time for him to make some great signings this summer to hopefully contend for a Premier League title next year. The board has given him the green light to spend this summer, and it is also important to bring back talented players such as Alexis Sanchez and Mezut Ozil. As a fan-base, it is time to come together and give Wenger the support he deserves after he has given the fan’s many of victories over the past two decades. Wenger is in, and now it is time for Arsenal to put it all together next year.
