Day 2 of the Orlando Summer League is over. Here are the final scores and recaps:

Knicks: 78 Pistons: 103

New York Notables:

Chasson Randle: 16 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 5/10 on threes

Damyean Dotson: 13 points, 4 assists, 1 steal

Jamel Artis: 11 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block

Louis Labeyrie: 10 points, 11 rebounds

Marshall Plumlee: 10 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block

Frank Ntilikina: DNP

 

Detroit Notables:

Eric Moreland: 15 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 blocks

Henry Ellenson: 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals

Luke Kennard: 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block

Pierre Jackson: 12 rebounds, 1 rebound, 7 assists

Lorenzo Brown: 11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists

 

The Pistons took a 19 point halftime lead and never looked back. At one point in the quarter Detroit held a 35 point lead, while the Knicks did not hold a single lead the entire game.

Chasson Randle was the lone bright spot for the Knicks, following up a 14 point performance on Saturday with a 16 point outing to lead all scorers in the game yesterday. French prospect Louis Labeyrie was a surprise for New York, scoring 10 points and snatching 11 rebounds.

For Detroit, Luke Kennard struggled from three point range (1/5) but still managed to score 14 points and 5 rebounds. Bigs, Eric Moreland and Henry Ellenson, excelled down low once again as Moreland led the Pistons with 15 points while swatting 4 blocks. Point guard Pierre Jackson displayed his distributing capabilities, dishing out 7 assists.

Jonathan Isaac: 15 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block

Derrick Walton Jr: 13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2/2 on threes

Marcus Georges-Hunt: 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal

Kalin Lucas: 12 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block

Jalen Jones: 9 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal

 

Miami Notables:

Okaro White: 15 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block

Bam Adebayo: 14 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 2 blocks

London Perrantes: 12 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal

Orlando rode a 32-9 first quarter run to victory. The Magic’s dominance in the first was more than enough, as they defeated the Heat by 13, while Miami did not hold a single lead.

Jonathan Isaac followed up a dreadful 2/10 performance with a 15 point, 13 rebound game to pace Orlando. Okaro White impressed again for Miami, scoring 15 and grabbing 6 boards. Bam Adebayo went just 4/16 from the field, but he made an impact down low, tallying 9 rebounds and swatting 2 shots.

 

Pacers: 84 Hornets: 77

Travis Leslie: 20 points, 4 rebounds 1 assist

Joe Young: 14 points, 1 rebound, 7 assists

T.J. Leaf: 12 points, 5 rebounds

Chris Johnson: 11 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block

Jarnell Stokes: 10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals

Trey McKinney-Jones: 9 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists

 

Charlotte Notables:

Treveon Graham: 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals

Johnny O’Bryant III: 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal

Briante Weber: 12 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal

 

The Pacers rode Travis Leslie’s 20 points to victory in a back and forth affair with Indiana pulling away in the fourth.

Leslie’s 20 point outing was his second straight of the Orlando Summer League. T.J. Leaf played his first pro game, scoring a solid 12 points and totaling 5 rebounds.

Treveon Graham followed up his 16 point performance on Saturday with 18 points yesterday. Johnny O’Bryant and Briante Weber were the only other Hornets players in double figures.
